Ad campaign: TabokaM

On the Sunday just gone I had a photoshoot for my brand which went really well. I had a great team on set with me, everyone delivered and I left the location really pleased with the overall shoot. Of course a few things went wrong, I forgot a pair of shoes I wanted one of my models to wear at home, the trains were running backwards (no seriously we had to go back in order to go forward) but all in all everything worked out :) I took some behind the scenes shots for the purposes of this blog, so let me know what you think xo

Draping Diaries

In my spare time I enjoy draping, exploring different methods and challenging myself to understand the techniques my favourite couture designers use. I have a lot more images from past draping ideas but I figured I'd start off with this post as an introduction to my 'draping diaries' chapter. Draping instantly exudes elegance and with the right fabrics textures and weights, it could walk a Valentino show ^.^ (just kidding, but one can dream) Anyway here are some 'picks of the week' If you like what you see drop a comment :)

Sketchbook

Just wanted to share some pages from my sketchbook and boards I've produced on photoshop/iPad, some working developments, collages and sketches I've done so far. I'm always looking for ways to illustrate my ideas from looking at other illustrators and designers to developing my own personal skills. I find this aspect of design so much fun but difficult to get the ball rolling at times! Thought I'd give a bit more insight into what I do as a fashion student xo

The piece is a high neck slight halter style in the front, with a low open back with straps for extra support. It is a striking number for females who aren't afraid of a little colour and pattern. Sewn with a comfortable good quality jersey fabric it is easy to put on and wash.
